In September 2005, Michael A. Calano, Esq. and Thomas A. Culhane, Esq. announced the formation of a new partnership, Calano & Culhane, LLP. Calano & Culhane, LLP is available to represent individuals across New York State who are in need of legal assistance. Our primary focus is on Personal Injury and Accident cases but we will discuss other matters encompassing a diverse range of legal needs and issues. Janet Madonia Calano, Esq. is of counsel to the firm practicing in Real Estate, Wills, Trusts and Estate, Matrimonial and other areas of law.

MICHAEL A. CALANO esq. | PARTNER
Michael Calano focuses his practice on civil litigation and Trials. A majority of his work is involved in counseling and representing people injured in accidents. With thorough preparation, excellent persuasive skills, and strong oral advocacy skills, Mike takes his cases from inception through trial.
The cases Mike has handled have involved the full range of claims, from medical malpractice (involving newborn brain damaged and quadriplegia) to wrongful death arising from all types of accidents including automobile, construction and fall-down cases.
Mike has also represented parties involved in Real Estate and Commercial Litigation.

Thomas A. Culhane esq. | PARTNER
Thomas Culhane focuses his practice on Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Construction Accidents, Medical Malpractice, Automobile, and Fall Down Matters. A majority of his work is involved in counseling and representing people who appreciate his availability, responsiveness, and attention.
Tom has handled many cases, including one involving a $9M settlement of a construction accident victim, and obtained verdicts and similar settlements in automobile, fall down, medical malpractice, and other injury cases.

Janet Madonia Calano | practicing Attorney
Janet Calano focuses her practice on Real Estate, Contracts, Wills, Trusts, Estate, and Surrogate Matters. A majority of her work is involved in counseling and representing people who like the personal attention of having their attorney understand and be responsive to their specific needs.
Janet has handled cases involving a full range of Real Estate deals, including representing purchasers and sellers of single-family homes, co-ops, condos, and apartment buildings. The commercial matters she has handled range from the formation of new businesses to the sale of businesses.
In reference to Wills, Trusts, Estate, and Surrogate Matters, she has represented those with simple Wills and Estates to those with complex matters involving international property ownership and other complex issues.
